Russia sets up an e-visa system for e-visas for a short stay and single entry to foreign nationals
According to Russian media, the electronic visa was introduced by the Russian authorities in 2017 However, the launch date in 2023 has not been announced yet.

earlier foreigners coming to Russia on e-visa were allowed to travel to only a few regions of Russia but now foreigners with e-visa will be allowed to travel across the country.

To apply for an e-visa applicants will have to pay 40 bucks for their photographs, a scanned copy of their passport, and a fee, after which the visa will be issued in four days and will be valid for the next 60 days
